Так, в частности, данное мобильное устройство повергло всех покупателей в шок, потому что никто не ожидал ничего подобного. Нужно сразу же заметить, что китайская корпорация никого не обманула.
Смартфон Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro оснащен восьмиядерным процессором MediaTek Helio G90T, который считается игровым. Он поддерживает фирменную технологию быстрой зарядки Pump Charge 4.0, а такая совместима с USB Power Delivery 3.0, о чем сообщили на презентации. Тем не менее, как оказалось, и с Quick Charge данный телефон в полной мере совместим. Дело в том, что в него установлен чип под названием Qualcomm SMB1351, который гарантированно обеспечивает поддержку протокола быстрой зарядки Quick Charge 3.0, а также, возможно и более новых. Чтобы телефон поддерживал QC 4.0 необходим чип SMB1380 или SMB1381, но наличие такого пока что под вопросом, потому что на официальных изображениях телефона его нет.

Впрочем, все это доказывает, что новый бюджетный смартфон китайской корпорации одновременно поддерживает сразу три технологии быстрой зарядки – Quick Charge, Pump Charge и USB Power Delivery. Это, вне каких-либо сомнений, повергло всех в шок, потому что подобным обычно не могут похвастаться даже флагманские дорогие мобильные устройства, а в данном конкретном случае речь идет о модели за $200, которая, помимо прочего, обладает еще и четверной основной камерой. Поддерживает данный смартфон технологию QC 4.0 или нет – покажет время, потому что подтверждения этому пока что нет, но и сомневаться в достоверности озвученных сведений во время анонса не приходится.
Впрочем, может получиться так, что поддержка Quick Charge 4.0 в смартфоне Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro будет только в Китае и Индии, тогда как для других стран мира все ограничится QC 3.0. Так ранее уже бывало, хотя по части «железа» мобильные устройства были идентичными. Все дело в том, что для добавления поддержки быстрой зарядки в свои телефоны производители таких должны делать денежные отчисления в пользу Qualcomm, причем не какого-то фиксированного размера, а в виде определенной суммы денег с каждого проданного телефона. Это не слишком выгодно, потому что из-за такого положения дел себестоимость готовой продукции сильно возрастает.
